On the Pinhal Golf Course you play in the immediate vicinity of Vilamoura's most elegant residences. The holes run past elegant villas and sometimes through flat, sometimes hilly terrain. There are always great views of the sea past the trees on the course. The design of the flat course with water hazards was originally created by Frank Pennink, but was adapted by Robert Trent Jones in the mid-1980s. But that's not all: Martin Hawtree recently put his hand to various holes and made some improvements.
