Costa Brava between sea and mountains
Empordà is the beautiful hinterland of the Costa Brava in the Catalan province of Girona. This is where the Mediterranean meets the Pyrenees. Rolling hills, olive groves, vineyards and picturesque villages characterize the landscape that inspired the famous artist Salvador Dalí throughout his life. Nestled between the Mediterranean and the foothills of the Pyrenees, the Empordà wine-growing region stretches from the coast up to altitudes of more than 250 meters. The Denominació d'Origen Empordà is considered the cradle of viticulture in Spain. Grape varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Macabeo, Moscatel, Parellada, Riesling, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer grow here on around 2,300 hectares of vineyards. The winegrowers also traditionally produce the high-alcohol Rancios. A fantastic region for explorers, connoisseurs and golfers.

Christoph is a Fully Qualified PGA Golf Professional, A-license coach in the German Olympic Sports Confederation and German Golf Teacher Master. The former tour player of the German Golf Team combines the highest qualifications and qualities of a teaching professional with those of a playing professional. Experience a new dimension of golf with Christoph. Benefit from his know-how and his experience from many years of professional golf. And Christoph is sure to share one or two anecdotes from professional golf.
As a playing pro, Christoph has already traveled to many countries and knows the world's top courses. During this time, he has also discovered his passion for traveling and getting to know new golf destinations. As a teaching pro, he has already organized and accompanied well over 50 trips worldwide. Of course, golf is always at the center of Christoph's travels. However, cultural highlights, off-course activities and culinary delights also play an important role on his trips.
The 4-star Hotel Terraverda right next to two fantastic 18-hole courses is an ideal domicile for golfers. It is located in Gualta, just an hour and a half's drive from Barcelona. The town of Gualta is a jewel of this historic region of Catalonia, enchanting with the Medas Islands, the dunes of Pals, Cabo Roig and the bay of Begur. After extensive renovations and a thorough modernization, the hotel and golf resort have been shining in new splendor since 2020. The 87 rooms are modernly furnished with various amenities. The hotel has two restaurants and a bar. The hotel also offers an outdoor pool, indoor pool, mini market, fitness room and in-room massages.
