With its famous waterfront promenade, its own city beach, the old town Barrio de la Santa Cruz with its narrow streets and the medieval Castillo de Santa Bárbara, it enjoys great popularity all year round. The Mar Menor lagoon and the town of Torrevieja are also not far away.
