Emporda / Peralada
Empordà is the fertile hinterland of the Costa Brava in the Catalan province of Girona in Spain. The region can be easily reached from Barcelona airport in around 1.5 hours. Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the foothills of the Pyrenees, the Empordà region's wine-growing area stretches from the coast up to an altitude of 260 meters. The various wine routes with over 50 wineries are well worth a visit. Discover the magnificent landscape, culture and nature of a fascinating region. Take a stroll through the medieval town of Peralada, not far from the hotel, and feel the medieval splendor of the town with its well-preserved buildings and monuments.

The exclusive Peralada Resort is located in the heart of the Alt Empordà, just a few kilometers from Figueres and the French border. It is nestled between the Mediterranean coast and the mountain ranges of the Pyrenees. The region is known for its excellent wines.
The extensive grounds of the Peralada Resort include the luxurious Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf with the Wine Spa, an attractive 18-hole golf course, its own wine cellar with tasting opportunities and guided tours, a casino, the Castell de Peralada with a museum and a 14th century monastery.
The Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf offers very creative and excellent cuisine in its three excellent restaurants, one of which has been awarded a Michelin star. The diverse facilities also include a garden bar (open seasonally), an indoor pool, a swimming pool, a fitness room and an attractive wine spa with a wide range of different massages and treatments.
The first-class hotel has 54 rooms (32-35m2) and 10 suites (from 45m2), all of which have an elegant, fresh and modern design and are equipped with every comfort. They have a bathroom, some with separate shower, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, minibar and safe. The superior room category is equipped with balconies, while suites have terraces and additional coffee machines.
The Peralada Golf Club, with 18 holes and a pitch & putt course, is right next to the hotel. The fairways of the 18-hole course are beautifully integrated into the surroundings, some of them are long and narrow and have bunkers. However, the course offers fun for all handicaps. The two first-class PGA Catalunya golf courses, Stadium Course and Tour Course, the two 18-hole Emporda courses Forest & Links, the Club Golf d'Aro-Mas Nou with impressive views of the Costa Brava and Golf de Pals, the oldest golf course on the Costa Brava, are ideal additions to the area.
