Solitude is located about 48 km east of Salt Lake City, surrounded by impressive mountain peaks and dense forests. The ski resort covers an area of around 1,214 hectares and offers a variety of slopes for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Solitude is characterized by its relaxed atmosphere and charm. Compared to some of the larger ski resorts in the region, Solitude is often quieter and less crowded, making it a popular destination for visitors looking for an authentic mountain atmosphere and relaxed skiing. The ski area has 77 marked runs, ranging from gentle beginner slopes to steep challenges. There are also extensive slopes through forests and off-piste areas.
