Auroras often dance high above the roof of Deplar Farm in Iceland. The farmhouse, which has been transformed into luxury accommodation, is one of the most beautiful addresses on the unspoilt island in the North Atlantic - and for heliskiers, it is a fantastic place to stay with two helipads on the doorstep.
The heliski terrain is varied, ranging from gentle descents to steep couloirs that lead all the way to the sea. Iceland's maritime snow cover ensures stable conditions, ranging from smooth, buttery slopes and firn snow to fresh powder. In June, you can even ski late into the night thanks to the midnight sun.
Do you have any questions about Eleven Deplar Farm?
We know Eleven Deplar Farm personally and are always happy to answer your questions. You can reach us via chat or info@travel-zone.ch or by phone (Mon - Fri 9.00-18.00): +41 41 552 55 00.
Guests can choose from 13 different suites. From queen or king-bed suites to particularly spacious loft suites with additional sleeping space and lounge areas. Thermal water flows out of the showers in the bathrooms from the ground beneath the farm.
This warm water bubbling up from the earth is also used for the heated outdoor and indoor pool as well as the indoor hot tub. Of course, the excellent spa also offers a sauna and steam bath for relaxation after long days of heliskiing or ski touring in Iceland. If you haven't exhausted yourself enough with descents from mountain peaks to the sea, you can let off steam in the first-class equipped fitness area.
In addition to Deplar Farm, they have several Outpost huts in the area, which are ideal for special lunches and dinners.
The season runs from the end of March to the beginning of June. The Deplar offers many other special experiences outside of the heliski season. We will be happy to help you here too.
