Meticulously groomed slopes, waiting times at the lifts and crowds on the slopes - you won't find any of that with Alaska Backcountry Guides. What's more, even compared to other companies, heliskiing at AGB often seems wilder and more pristine. Freeriding in the largest US state is pure adventure. Even experienced freeriders go into raptures in the dramatic terrain of the Chugach Mountains.
Every year, the vast glaciers and gigantic peaks sink under record-breaking snowfalls. The Alaska Backcountry Guides (ABG) area is extremely varied, so that intermediate skiers and snowboarders can let off steam in untracked powder just as easily as experienced skiers and pros.
With ABG, a maximum of two groups share one helicopter. And as the groups consist of a maximum of four guests, the experienced guides tailor the deep snow adventure perfectly to your needs.

The comfortable apartments have two spacious bedrooms and fully equipped kitchens. Luxurious bathrooms, private balconies, free Wi-Fi and a fitness room make the stay very pleasant - even for longer stays.
Your heliskiing base during the day is then a private hangar directly at Valdez Airport, where there are changing facilities and a pro store. Morning and afternoon transfers are included in the heliskiing package. Hot soup and sandwiches are served for lunch on the mountain, and in the evening the chef serves a hearty dinner.
