The Abama golf course is located at the foot of the western flank of the Teide volcano. The view of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Gomera is breathtaking from almost every hole. The 18-hole championship course, built by designer Dave Thomas, is immaculately maintained. The course is home to more than 300 species of subtropical plants and a whopping 20,000 palm trees. With 22 lakes, waterfalls and cleverly placed bunkers, the par-72 course with its 6281 meters is a challenge and a great pleasure even for experienced golfers.
