The golf course was designed in 2010 by Australian golf legend Greg Norman and is located in the west of Cairo. The slightly hilly course is mainly in open terrain without any major trees. Apart from a large lake on holes 2 and 17 and a small pond on holes 7 and 15, the course is mainly characterized by well-tended fairways, numerous, strategically placed bunkers and fast, undulating greens. Precise play is therefore required.
