The Banyan Golf Club, located approx. 13 kilometers south of Hua Hin, opened at the end of 2008. Thailand's golf course architect Pirapon Namatra designed this championship course, which is one of the best Thailand has to offer, in the midst of pineapple plantations. For example, it was voted the best new golf course in 2009 by the readers of Asian Golf Monthly. A great, well-kept golf course with a modern clubhouse. The first 9 holes are flat, the second 9 holes a little more hilly. Signature holes are hole 15, a 126 meter short par 3 with an elevated tee, and hole 12, a 555 meter long par 5 uphill. Many of the holes offer spectacular views of the surrounding area, the mountains and the sea.
