Golf course information
The Canyon Course is considered one of the most important and prestigious championship courses in Asia. The impressive championship course was created with minimal intervention in the original landscape on the site of a disused tin mine flanked by rubber plantations. The award-winning Canyon Course was inaugurated in December 1991 and has been a must-play ever since. In 1999, Yoshikazu Kato created this course in a disused open-cast mining area, leaving the wildlife habitat largely untouched. As the name suggests, the course is characterized by many water hazards. Water comes into play on 17 of the 18 holes of the course and demands precision. The 18th hole is particularly challenging, a grandiose but also difficult finale on this impressive course.
