Golf course information
Flora and fauna thrive in the woods and streams of Druids Glen. Whether golfers also enjoy the protection of the legendary figures is not certain - but at least the almost mystical tranquillity in the "Valley of the Druids" helps with concentration. Some professionals have already benefited from this. Since its opening in 1995, the parkland course designed by Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock has hosted the Irish Open several times. The very well-kept course is known as the "Augusta of Europe" and presents players with many a challenge, especially with its water hazards. A wealth of plants and historical remnants are a slight distraction, but also create a great atmosphere.
