Golf course architect Jonathan Gaunt has created a wonderful course for golfers of all abilities at Castleknock Golf Club. The 18-hole course is challenging without being too demanding. Castleknock is playable all year round. Undulating greens require precise putts at the end of the fairways, which are lined with many old trees. Precision is also required on holes 9 and 18. The two par-3 holes have to be played over water onto a double green, which is located directly in front of the imposing clubhouse.
