The sound of the waves in your ears, a salty breeze in your nose, the island of Alcanda with its lighthouse and mountains in view: The golf course at Club de Golf Alcanada boasts a magnificent location right by the sea. The atmosphere on the greens and fairways, which are lined with pine, oak and olive trees, is just as peaceful and idyllic as the surrounding countryside. The 18-hole course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. With its slightly hilly terrain and cleverly placed bunkers, the parkland course is considered to be challenging but fair. The facilities of the golf course, which opened in 2003, include a clubhouse and a bar.
