Located just about three miles from downtown Edinburgh is Bruntsfield Links, a historic parkland course belonging to the Golfing Society, founded in 1761. Willie Park Jr. laid the groundwork, and later Alister MacKenzie, James Braid, Fred Hawtree, and Tom MacKenzie shaped the design. The course features mature trees, strategic bunkers, and views across the Firth of Forth.
