Located on Guernsey’s west coast near Vazon Bay, La Grande Mare was redesigned by Robin Hiseman. With its waterways, ponds, and strategic choices, this short par-69 course is significantly more challenging than its length would suggest. The sea lies ahead, with the island’s landscape stretching behind. Particularly memorable are the 8th hole, with a carry over the orchid-rich nature reserve, and the 17th, featuring what is arguably the most intimidating tee shot in the Channel Islands.
