Flooding once made the course unplayable, but after extensive renovations, the courses designed by Kyle Phillips have been open again since 2021. Fortunately, the Californian architect has done a great job on the Sicilian coast. All three courses are characterized by separate fairways and deep pot bunkers. In some places there is a certain resemblance to Scottish links courses - especially on the slightly hilly 9-hole short course. The East Course is the longest on the course and somewhat more varied than the flat West Course. If the wind comes into play, this significantly increases the level of difficulty.
