The 18-hole golf course was opened in 1978 and designed by British golf course designer John Harris. It is located around 13 kilometers north of the airport on the east coast and offers impressive views of the Atlantic Ocean and Arrecife, the island's capital. Most of the holes run along the foot of an extinct volcano, embedded in the fascinating volcanic landscape with cacti and more than 3,000 palm trees. The design of the course is technical and varied with many doglegs that challenge players of all HCP classes.
