Golf course information
Emirates Golf offers two magnificent courses around the clubhouse built in the shape of Bedouin tents. The Majlis was the first golf course in the Middle East when it opened in 1988. The showpiece of the historic course is hole 8, from whose tee shot you can look out over an immaculate fairway lined with trees and palm trees directly onto the glittering Dubai skyline. Once opened under the name Wadi Course, the 18-hole course was renamed the Faldo Course in 2005 after being redesigned by golf legend Nick Faldo. The entire 18-hole course is floodlit and can therefore also be played after sunset. On hot days, this is of course fantastic, especially as the backdrop of Dubai's skyscrapers is even more impressive in the dark.
