Founded in 1995 and designed by none other than South Africa's golf legend Gary Player, the first 9 holes of this course are on rather flat terrain at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains. The second 9 holes are on hillier terrain towards the mountains with fascinating views of the Winelands and the False Bay coastline. From the clubhouse terrace you can see the greens of holes 9 and 18 and watch the players there. The PGA South African Open was held here in 2003 and 2004.
