The 18-hole golf course (formerly G & CC Benalup), which is part of the Fairplay Golf & Spa Resort, was designed by Baron Paul Rolin in 2002 and reopened in 2017 after a three-year break. The course is set in beautiful surroundings with great views, including of the La Janda valley and a nature reserve. The terrain is slightly hilly, with numerous water hazards in the form of lakes coming into play on the first nine holes in particular. Most of the holes are lined with magnificent olive, pine and chaparral trees. Some of the fast greens are challengingly undulating.
