Our conclusion:
With the Falsterbo GK, you will experience one of the few genuine links courses on the European mainland - a must for any golf lover looking for the originality and challenge of classic links golf. The course was originally designed by Robert Turnbull and later by Gunnar Bauer, who made perfect use of the natural terrain and proximity to the sea. The greens were updated by Peter Nordwall and Peter Chamberlain. They lend the course additional sophistication.
Falsterbo GK impresses with its location directly on the water, the open dune landscape and the constant presence of the wind, which makes every round unique. Particularly impressive are the 11th hole, a short par 3 surrounded by water and considered the dramatic signature hole of the course, and the 18th hole, a par 5 along the white sandy beach, which can even be reached in two strokes with a tailwind - but beware: a trip to the dunes or the beach can quickly turn into an adventure!
The combination of sporting challenge, spectacular nature and British links charm makes Falsterbo GK an unforgettable golfing experience that should not be missing from any bucket list.
