Our conclusion:

If you're looking for a modern, spectacular golf course in Scandinavia, you can't go past Great Northern. The masterpiece of Nicklaus Design, opened in 2017, combines a sophisticated layout with a unique landscape design. The generous fairways, strategically placed bunkers and numerous water hazards provide sporting challenges and varied rounds. Particularly impressive are the differences in elevation on the west side of the course, from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Great Belt and the famous Storebælt Bridge.

Signature holes include the 3rd hole, a long par 3 that is played steeply downhill and where the clubhouse serves as an impressive backdrop. Another highlight is the 18th hole, a par 5 with an island green that is surrounded by water and demands the utmost precision in the approach shot. Not least these spectacular holes make every round an unforgettable experience. Great Northern is a course that sets standards both in terms of sport and appearance and should be on every golfer's bucket list.
