The 9-hole Höfn Golf Course (Icelandic: Golfklúbbur Hornafjarðar) is located on the outskirts of the town of Höfn. Everything here is a bit dreamy and deserted. For example, there are no buggies and some of the signs are missing. But the main reason to play this course is the breathtaking panoramic view of the glaciers, mountains and landscape of Vatnajökull National Park. So if you play this course with lots of wind, sea and water, you will probably return with a unique nature experience, often including contact with animals such as swans, songbirds or horses, which have their home here on the edge of the golf course.
