The 27-hole golf course (18-hole championship course + 9-hole course), designed by the well-known French golf course architect Yves Bureau, is located in the south-east of Cairo. It was opened in 1997. Lovingly designed water hazards alternate with bunkers in front of the greens. The fairways are well-kept and mostly wide, the greens are fast and fair. Magnificent views from the elevated tees will take many a golfer's mind off the game. Numerous magnificent villas are built around the hilly golf course on almost every fairway.
