The club has existed since 1909, the current golf course since 1953. The course is laid out as a parkland course. It is very flat and therefore easy to master on foot. The main difficulty of the course is its narrow fairways and its numerous water hazards on 12 holes, which always provide a challenge or two. Due to its lush vegetation, the course also provides a habitat for many birds and other small animals. The clubhouse was renovated and modernized in 2011.
