Campo America is one of the three resort golf courses at La Cala. Like its two brothers, it was designed by Cabell B. Robinson. Opened in 1992, it is the resort's championship course. It is the longest and widest. In terms of its hilliness, it lies between Campo Asia and Campo Europa. There are often spectacular views of the Sierra de Ojén and the Mediterranean. The hilly location requires some shots over embankments. The relatively small and often elevated greens require correct club selection and precision. Water hazards come into play on holes 9 and 16.
