Golf course information
In the south of the **Blue Coast**, in the middle of a famous Muscatel wine-growing area, lies the Montado GC. It was designed by the architects Duarte Sotto-Mayor and Jorge Santana da Silva and opened in 1992. The course is adorned with a large number of typical old oak trees, as well as olive, chestnut and pine trees. The trickiest hole on the course is probably hole 5, a par 4 where you have to hit a long drive to be able to attack the green, which is surrounded by lots of water, with your second shot. Hole 13 also offers a wonderful view of Palmela Castle, which towers over the beautiful landscape.
