Narin & Portnoo is located in a beautiful seaside resort in southwest Donegal. It is considered one of Ireland's finest 18-hole links courses with sweeping views of Gweebarra Bay. Opened in 1930, the course is not long by modern standards, but is nevertheless demanding and challenging. The course has recently been redesigned in a par-73 layout. "If you're looking for links golf of the wild and rugged kind, nothing comes close to this gem, which sits on the northwest coast of Ireland right on the Atlantic Ocean," wrote Philip Reid of the Irish Times.
