The absolute highlight course, not only on Kiawah Island. A links course with 10 holes directly on the Atlantic Ocean, with the other eight holes running parallel to it. Designed by Peter and Alice Dye, it was opened in 1991 for the Ryder Cup. The PGA Championship followed in 2012 and was also held there in 2021. It can only be played with a caddie and without a buggy. For many connoisseurs, it is one of the 100 most beautiful golf courses in the world. Depending on the wind direction and strength, the difference in club selection can be up to 8 (!) clubs.
