Golf course information
No golf trip to Wales is complete without a round on the affectionately named **P & K** course. With its high sand dunes on the South Wales coast near Porthcawl, it is located in a beautiful golfing region. Natural obstacles such as hills, valleys and towering dunes characterize the course, which was voted Wales Golf Course of the Year in 2024. However seriously you take the game, you should definitely take time to enjoy the magnificent panorama. The Bristol Channel, the Gower Peninsula, Sker House and the Welsh mountains can be seen from various points. Unusually for a links course, Pyle and Kenfig is laid out in two loops of nine. The original first nine holes, designed by the renowned Harry Colt, lead a little further inland. The back nine holes, designed by P. Mackenzie Ross, lead out into the dunes, where the wind can present a particular challenge.
