In 2016, Rathsallagh Golf Club was reopened after a one-and-a-half-year general overhaul. Since then, the course built by Peter McEvoy and Christy O'Connor Junior in 1994 has shone in new splendor. The course is set in beautiful parkland near Dunlavin in the state of Wicklow. Its fairways are lined with mature trees. Since the redesign, the round begins and ends at the clubhouse. And the hilly terrain, which is criss-crossed by bunkers, streams and ponds, poses a number of challenges. Rathsallagh is one of the top parkland courses in the country.
