The Resort Course at Grande Dunes was designed by Roger Rulewich and opened in 2001. The seven holes are spectacular, some of which run on elevated cliffs along the Intracoastal Waterway and offer a magnificent view of the Intracoastal Waterway, the Grande Dunes Marina and the Marina Inn at Grande Dunes Resort. The course offers extensive fairways, often with slight undulations, as well as large and only slightly undulating greens. It was named **National Golf Course of the Year** by the National Golf Course Owners Association of America in 2009.
