Golf course information
Opened in 1927, the Old Course at Royal Golf Marrakech is the second oldest golf course in Morocco. King Hadj Thami El Glaoui Mezouari personally inaugurated it with an initial four holes. The first 9 holes were completed in 1928, followed later by the expansion to 18 holes and further modernizations. In addition to the view of the peaks of the Atlas massif, the hundred-year-old trees are particularly impressive. At times, you feel like you are playing in a botanical garden on the Royal Golf. The most famous hole is a par 3, which King Hassan II christened %22Brigitte Bardot%22. The monarch was probably inspired by two perfectly shaped hills that guard the green, separated by a bunker.
