Some holes of the Simola Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course offer breathtaking views over Knysna, the Knysna Lagoon and the Indian Ocean. The course dates back to 2005 and due to its hilly terrain and long distances, buggies are a must. It offers fantastic, varied fairways, fantastic views and excellent maintenance - in other words, everything a golfer's heart desires. However, the course is generally classed as difficult to play and is a real challenge even for single-digit handicappers. If you play your HCP, this is an excellent result. A few spare balls in your bag certainly won't do any harm.
