The Soma Bay Golf Course captivates with its striking contrast between the lush green fairways on one side and the rugged desert and deep-blue sea on the other. This gently undulating links/desert course was not only the first golf course on the west coast of the Red Sea but also Gary Player’s first championship course in the Middle East. The star designer has skillfully placed several water hazards throughout this challenging course. The Soma Bay Golf Club also features a 9-hole short course where beginners and intermediate players can primarily practice their short game. On the Golf Academy’s Par 3 Challenge Course, players can specifically improve their skills under the guidance of a PGA golf pro.
