The Springfield Royal Country Club is located approx. 30 kilometers northwest of Hua Hin. The course was opened in 1996. The 27-hole course is divided into three 9-hole loops: the Mountain Course (A) and Lake Course (B), designed by US golf legend Jack Nicklaus, and the challenging Valley Course (C), completed by golf course architect Lee Schmidt in 2005. The championship course is one of the best golf courses around Hua Hin. This course in lush vegetation is a challenge for golfers of all levels. Numerous water hazards in the form of 12 ponds and fairways lined with stately trees make for exciting rounds.
