Welcome to the magnificent La Barrosa beach. In addition to five kilometers of fine sand, you can also expect plenty of history here. The English and Spanish troops defeated Napoleon on this historic stretch of coast in 1811. Today, the beach is a jewel of sustainability on the Atlantic and has been recognized as one of the best examples of ecological balance in Spain. The Iberostar Andalucia Playa is located right next to the Iberostar Royal Andalus. You can enjoy the hotel's own 36-hole golf course (two 18-hole courses) designed by Severiano Ballesteros. The golf course is just 250 meters from the hotel.
Golfing on the Atlantic coast of Spain
Novo Sancti Petri is located in Andalusia in the southwest of Spain. The vacation resort in the municipality of Chiclana de la Frontera, province of Cádiz, is located on the Playa de la Barrosa to the south of the main town of Chiclana. The area is known for its large number of golf courses and hotels covering an area of around 4000 hectares. For a change from golf or beach life, we recommend a trip to the historic city of Cadiz, just a 40-minute drive away, or to the capital of Andalusia, Seville, which is an hour and a half away.

The five-star hotel Iberostar Selection Andalucia Playa is approximately 45 minutes from Jerez de la Frontera Airport. The hotel is built in the Andalusian style and faces the sea in a U-shape.
The different room categories are primarily distinguished by their location. The bright and friendly rooms in the "garden view", "partial sea view", "direct sea view" and "room with direct access to the communal pool" categories are 26 square meters in size. Or treat yourself to a little more luxury in a 47 square meter Junior Suite, which also offers a direct sea view. The Superior Suites with sea view and a size of 95 square meters are ideal for four adults.
Three restaurants are available for your culinary experience. The excellent buffet restaurant D'Cai is open all year round. La Bodega with Andalusian specialties and the gourmet restaurant Cataria are excellent alternatives in high season.
You can relax in the Sensations SPA. Various massages, relaxing or invigorating, as well as facial and body treatments are offered. There is also a pool, a sauna, a steam bath and a relaxation area. Children are only allowed in the spa between 13:00 and 15:00. Use of the spa is subject to a charge.
