Look forward to professional training sessions, valuable tips and varied rounds of golf in Andalusia. After an overnight stay in the historic capital of Seville, you will spend 6 nights at the Hacienda Montenmedio near Cádiz. You will play 5 rounds at Montenmedio and 1 highlight round at the Real Club Sevilla.
Spanish Atlantic coast: golf and more on the Costa de la Luz
The Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) is located in the province of Cadiz in the south of Andalusia. It stretches for around 200 kilometers along the Atlantic Ocean between Gibraltar and the border with Portugal. The beaches are known above all for their very fine sand and almost endless dunes. The coast is therefore particularly popular with surfers, water sports enthusiasts and holidaymakers.
The region is characterized by a mild climate all year round, with many Central Europeans spending their winters in the area, especially from autumn to spring.
And there is plenty to discover, for example on a golf-free day. Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera are only about an hour's drive from the resort. Or how about a visit to a sherry bodega, including a tasting? The Atlantic coast is approx. 30 minutes away by car. Or another round of golf on one of the numerous golf courses in the area?
It's a little further to the Spanish Mediterranean coast, for example to the famous British enclave of Gibraltar with its Monkey Rock (approx. 75 minutes by car) or to glamorous Marbella with its stores and restaurants around the exclusive marina of Puerto Banus (approx. 90 minutes by car). A little further inland is the typical Andalusian town of Ronda with its famous bridge over a deep gorge (approx. 120 minutes by car).

His passion for golf began in an unusual way. He first came into contact with golf as a competitive sport during his sports studies. He became the conditioning coach for the junior squad of Baden-Württemberg and looked after 14 young players with handicaps between 7 and 2. Although some of them were not very physically fit, unlike him they played outstanding golf, an experience that motivated him greatly.
With a little talent, a lot of training, an enormous amount of time, a ball sponsor and numerous coaching sessions, he improved his handicap from 36 to 5 within three years. He had caught the golf bug. After completing his sports degree, he began training as a golf instructor and, after many further training courses, reached the highest level of training with the Master Professional.
Today, with the VIP squad, he wants to help motivated players achieve their dream handicap. Targeted tips and tricks directly on the course often make rapid improvements possible.
The Hotel Hacienda Dehesa Montenmedio is idyllically situated in the middle of the Andalusian countryside near Vejer de la Frontera, surrounded by pine trees, cork oaks and the typical Dehesa landscape. Jerez airport can be reached in around 1 hour and Seville airport in around 2 hours. The accommodation boasts a quiet location, a family atmosphere, a saltwater pool, beautiful courtyards and direct proximity to the hotel's own 18-hole Montenmedio golf course. The 29 individually designed rooms offer plenty of charm and ensure that every stay has its own character. In the morning, guests can enjoy a small but delicious breakfast with local produce.
