The often snow-covered peak of Mount Teide can be seen as soon as you arrive by plane. At 3718 meters, it is the highest mountain in Spain and the highest point in the Atlantic. It has created an impressive landscape - jagged mountain ranges, deep gorges, green cliffs and tiny terraced fields. Tenerife is also known for its pleasant and healthy air. This is due not only to the year-round mild climate of the much-quoted "eternal spring", but also to the diverse flora of the forests in the north. The former Sheraton La Caleta is now called Tivoli La Caleta. And it's not just the name of the resort right by the sea on the southwest coast of Tenerife that has changed. The public areas of the hotel, which is around 20 kilometers from Tenerife South Airport, have been given a completely new urban look. The hotel is surrounded by a large tropical garden landscape. The spacious grounds include a tropical pool complex with two freshwater and one seawater pool. The dark sandy beach "El Duque Norte" is just a few minutes' walk away. The directly adjacent beach promenade leads to the original fishing village of La Caleta with its small fish restaurants.
The 284 rooms are modern in an urban style. You can choose between spacious rooms measuring around 40 square meters with a garden view, side sea view or direct sea view. Or perhaps you would prefer a 106 square meter suite?
The gastronomic concept with a total of four restaurants bears the signature of Olivier da Costa, who ensures culinary variety at a very high level. For example, the buffet restaurant "El Parador" offers international cuisine, the "Yacuza Asian" Japanese-Asian cuisine, the "Guilty" Mediterranean specialties and the "Beach Club" delicious snacks at lunchtime.
The exclusive Spa by Anantara offers over 1200 square meters of numerous treatments (for a fee) as well as relaxation areas that bring body, mind and soul back into harmony after an eventful day of golf.
