Lois Macintosh has over 35 years of experience in golf. Growing up on a golf course where her father was head greenkeeper, she has developed a deep passion for the sport and has internalized the intricacies of the game. Her focus is on personalized training methods that combine technique, strategy and game tactics. She helps golfers of all levels to reach their full potential. Lois teaches not only sporting but also personal development. Her philosophy: "If you learn to embrace mistakes, you'll develop the persistence to never give up."
The Octant Santiago is a charming boutique hotel with 32 rooms that offer a successful combination of modern comfort and traditional style. About 1.5 hours from Lisbon airport, the hotel is located in the peaceful, natural surroundings of the Alentejo. From here you have access to the historical sights and beautiful beaches of the region.
The gastronomy at the hotel focuses on local ingredients and presents a modern interpretation of Alentejo cuisine in the hotel's own restaurant. The hotel also has a cooking academy with cooking workshops.
There are numerous activities in the area surrounding the hotel, from hikes through the hilly landscape to visits to the nearby beaches. Cultural highlights such as the medieval castle of Santiago offer variety, and for nature lovers there are opportunities for bird watching, bike tours or horseback riding through the picturesque countryside.
