The area is also an ideal starting point for ski trips to Shizukuishi and Hachimantai. There you are far away from the crowds and have the powder almost to yourself. On this trip, you will definitely need touring ski or splitboard equipment for shorter tours.

We start in Hakkoda, it is best to take the Shinkansen from Tokyo or a domestic flight to Aomori. For the return journey, the Shinkansen to Tokyo is the most convenient. We will be happy to help you book flights and the Shinkansen at current prices.
