Surrounded by pine forests, you can discover impressive monuments and palaces. The coastal town of Cascais, located directly on the Atlantic Ocean, is just a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The proximity to Lisbon allows you to discover the many sights of the Portuguese capital on a day trip.

The 5-star resort is a historic property whose history dates back to the 14th century. At that time, both hermit monks and noblemen from Lisbon called the Sintra hills their home.
The luxurious resort offers a variety of spacious rooms. The elegant rooms are decorated in earthy colors and blend in beautifully with the green and wooded park. All room categories have a private balcony. The Deluxe and Deluxe Park View rooms are already extremely spacious at 50 square meters. The Junior Suites offer 60 square meters of space and those who need a little more will get their money's worth in the 112 square meter Executive Suites.
The Penha Longa Resort also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine. There are eight excellent restaurants to choose from. The "LAB by Sergi Arola" has a Michelin star and offers innovative international cuisine, while the "Arola" mainly serves tapas creations and the "Midori" serves Japanese delicacies. The "Penha Longa Mercatto" serves Italian specialties, while the "B-Lounge" is known for gourmet burgers and a huge selection of different gins. The seasonal pool restaurant "Aqua" spoils guests with fresh fish, grilled dishes, salads and fruit. The "Spices" serves Asian specialties and the "Basque" celebrates traditional Basque cuisine.
The 1,500 square meter spa is an oasis of peace and relaxation. There are a total of nine treatment rooms where various treatments are offered. Two small pools and a three-meter-high waterfall await you in the beautiful garden. There is also a fitness center with state-of-the-art endurance and strength equipment.
