The Fota Island Resort is located on the beautiful Fota Island peninsula. Cork city center is only 15 minutes away and Cork Airport is only 25 minutes away. The 5-star hotel offers 131 luxurious suite rooms, which are modern in design and offer fantastic views over the Fota Island landscape. If you are traveling with a small group and would like more privacy, you can also book one of the lodges. There are lodges with 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms available.
There are 3 restaurants to choose from. The hotel offers "The Amber Lounge", the "Cove Restaurant" and, after golf, "The Clubhouse". The exclusive Cove Restaurant has seasonal 6-course tasting menus celebrating Cork's finest delicacies. And each dish can be accompanied by the perfect wine on request. Those who prefer cider or beer with the various courses will of course be equally satisfied. Smart dress is the dress code at the Cove. The Clubhouse is more casual. It is the perfect place for snacks and après golf with a view over the golf course.
In addition to golf, the resort offers a wide range of activities such as tennis and much more. For relaxing hours, the hotel has an excellent spa. Thanks to its central location, local activities such as whiskey tasting at the renowned Jameson Distillery are not far away.
