The east coast is characterized by long beaches of white sand, small villages and secluded bays. The population in this area lives mainly from sugar cane cultivation, agriculture and fishing. The highlight of the east coast is Blue Bay. The water of the lagoon is a deep blue, making it one of the most magnificent diving and snorkeling spots in Mauritius. At Blue Bay, the coral reef is particularly intact and colorful. Visitors can expect a diverse and impressive flora and fauna. So it's no wonder that there is a marine national park in the Blue Bay lagoon. Another highlight on the east coast is certainly the offshore island of Île aux Cerfs, which is one of the most popular excursion destinations in Mauritius due to its paradisiacal nature. However, a trip to the capital, Port Luis in the north, which is the cultural, economic and political center of the island, is also worthwhile.

The popular golf resort is located in a large tropical garden directly on the two-kilometer-long white sandy beach, in a sheltered bay on the east coast. The spacious resort offers an excellent infrastructure and has two very attractive 18-hole championship courses that guarantee exciting rounds of golf.
The 259 rooms, junior suites and suites are all comfortable, modern and tastefully furnished, decorated in warm colors and have a balcony or terrace. All rooms and suites face the Indian Ocean and are located in buildings with a maximum of three floors. The Beachfront room category guarantees a magnificent sea view.
