No wonder the resort has been voted one of the best golf resorts in Europe several times.
Silver Coast - Rugged coasts and fantastic golf courses
Portugal has made a name for itself as a golf destination with its attractive courses. Most golfers are drawn to the Algarve in particular. But the lesser-known regions of Estoril Coast and Silver Coast are at least as interesting. The Oeste region ("Silver Coast") stretches along the Atlantic coast in the middle of a rural area bordered by the Serra de Montejunto. Due to its mild climate, this area is becoming increasingly important for tourism. With daytime temperatures of just under 20 degrees Celsius and night-time temperatures of around ten degrees Celsius, February in the region around Lisbon is usually perfect golfing weather. The Silver Coast offers several excellent golf courses, including Praia D'El Rey, Royal Óbidos, Bom Sucesso and the new top course West Cliffs. All are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

The 5-star hotel of the well-known Marriott chain is located on the west coast of Portugal and is only a 50-minute drive from the lively capital Lisbon. The beautiful 18-hole championship course is located right next to the hotel. The hotel offers shuttle transfers to the other golf courses.
The hotel comprises a total of 177 rooms and suites. The almost 40 square meter Garden/Golf View Rooms at the Praia D'El Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort are newly renovated and have a private terrace or balcony as well as a desk and sofa.
The hotel has two restaurants, Tempera (buffet restaurant) and Emprata (Mediterranean cuisine). The Club House is also a great place to dine and enjoy the view of the golf course. There is also a large, newly renovated lounge bar right next to reception. In the past, it has become a great meeting place, whether for an aperitif before dinner or for partying afterwards - open end!
In the Kalyan Spa, you can review the past round of golf and relax wonderfully. But if you still haven't had enough action, you can let off steam in the spacious fitness room. This is also what the numerous professional footballers do, whose teams regularly complete their winter preparations here.
