Tyax is relatively easy to reach from Vancouver and Whistler. You live in the middle of the Canadian wilderness, between the huge glaciers of the Coast Mountains and the hilly Fraser Plateau. You share the approximately 3,500 square kilometer heliskiing area with just 20 to 30 skiers and snowboarders. You powder in groups of ten, mainly in very good alpine terrain, with some runs extending down to below the tree line.

The rustic Tyax Wilderness Lodge & Spa with all kinds of amenities is certainly one of the highlights of this trip. For an even more exclusive stay, you can stay in the Spirit Bear Chalet next door, which is reserved for guests on the private program.
