Arapahoe Basin

Insider tip for passionate skiers and snowboarders
Just 10 minutes from Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, or A-Basin for short, is an absolute top tip. A-Basin is one of the highest ski resorts in North America. Half of the ski area lies above the tree line. You can still ski and snowboard there in late spring and early summer. A-Basin is not an area for beginners. 73 percent of the runs are classified for advanced and expert skiers. "If you ski in A-Basin, you should have a damn good command of your skis or board," recommends Max Schmidt from the TRAVELZONE ski team.
