Beaver Creek

One of the best ski resorts in the world, and not just because of the Back Bowls

Wide pleasure runs, tricky steep slopes, racy moguls, wonderful forest runs in Blue Sky Basin and the legendary deep snow slopes of the Back Bowls - Vail is a ski giant. "For me, it's one of the best ski resorts in the world," enthuses TRAVELZONE boss Kenny Prevost. The incredible variety of slopes makes Vail unique - as does its mostly wonderfully dry powder. For beginners, intermediates or experts, there is a huge selection of runs for every taste. "And the best thing of all: none of the slopes are ever crowded," says Kenny. It often snows at night and the sun shines during the day - that's Colorado! Beaver Creek is around 15 minutes away, Breckenridge and Keystone around 45 minutes. All four are part of the Vail Resorts.
