Copper Mountain

Insider tip not only for racers
The Copper ski area can be reached from 3 parts of the village: East Village, Center Village and West Village. The easy and intermediate slopes can be reached from the West Village and the challenging black runs from the East Village. The terrain includes wide, open bowls and many tree runs. Copper is also one of the best training centers for World Cup skiers in North America. The ski season starts early and lasts long in Copper on Interstate 70 between Breckenridge and Vail. "Copper is often underestimated, but is definitely worth a detour," says Max Schmidt from TRAVELZONE.
